This has got nothing to do with anything, but..

Isn’t this a very strong picture? I love the color of her eyes, masha’a Allah! This niqab wearing woman is a member of the Bhopa tribe that is living in the desert area of Rajasthan, India.

This last picture is very artistic. I know it’s a lot of makeup and everything, but it’s truely amazing to watch. Thanks to one of my dear readers for getting me the link!

I’m surprised to see a Muslim woman wearing the red pigment dot I associate with Hindu married woman– or am I surprised to see a Hindu woman wearing niqab– or is it something else entirely? But yes, a very strong picture and she looks like a very strong woman.

Wow!! That is a powerful stare. Her eyes make me think of a cat’s eyes (maybe because her eyeliner extends out!
)

Lovely.
The tilak (smear of red verses a dot) is actually not a signifier of marriage. It generally applied by a priest to signify the blessing of a diety. Non-Hindu tourists and any visitor to a temple can receive the tilak (tilaka in Sanksrit).
