Malaysian hijab video

Although some stuff in this video is silly (like the smoking hijabi, and the “only for fashion” hijabi), I think the meaning behind this video is to probably show the diversity of hijabis with a humorous sting, and also to teach people a little something about hijab.

And in case you were wondering, here are “tudung” Wardina & “tudung” Waheeda;

    Right? I like it too 🙂

  3. What is it about head scarves that seems to bring out the pure beauty in a woman??? I’m forever astonished by how lovely women look in headscarves when if you listen to the secular world you’d think that hijab would make women ugly! But it’s the opposite in fact!

  4. P.S. I tried to wear a lovely hijab headscarf today but it was a total disaster hahahaha! I had no idea what I was doing!

    Try to look at the links on the side of my blog. Many of them have step-by-step guides on how to tie headscarves..

    I’m like the Coffee Catholic up above. I have hijab envy! I detest modern clothing–by that I mean super-tight jeans, the lack of anything that is flowing etc etc. I see hijabis and end up drooling at their clothing. Sadly, given the way the world is in the States, those poor women think that I’m glaring at them and judging them negatively when I’m just trying to get some ideas for my own clothing!

    It is perfectly normal to be inclined towards covering up most of your body as a woman, when in public. Think about it, what right does the rest of the world have to see your body or to scrutinize its detailed curves??? I like the way how in Islam a female is said to resemble a precious jewel or diamond. It is only a human nature to feel the need to preserve what the society endears the most. Therefore, I have come to realize that by wearing a hijab, Islam actually dignifies the woman!
