Beautiful post, I wore my mother in law’s baju kurung and scarf for my wedding day that she had tailored for her in Burnei. It looked great and I didn’t mind wearing her outfit as the Sultana of Brunei complimented her about how great she looked in it so I’m sure I looked pretty good too!

I love the very first one (with the clip around the back of the hijab). For a seriously sparkly look I like also the very last one – the gold ensemble. Fab!

I wore a light pink malay dress and a light pink shayla. Above that light pink shayla is a dusty pink studded veil which covers my whole back. And on top of that all, is a gold tiara.

Looking at all these pictures makes me wana go all over that again- because they’re sooooo beautiful! Hmm… Maybe on anniversary day? 😉

quite a few of my aunties dont wear their hijaabs fully on their wedding day and they make sure that it’s just women and their brothers and dad and nephews, etc. They also put signs up saying that they don’t want their picture taken as they have their own photographer.

But anyway, I like these styles. Maybe on my wedding day I’ll wear it like this. 😀

  42. Sabah says:

    Asalamu alaikum ukhti,
I sincerely appreciate you setting up this website and me finding it now is just perfect timing. I am getting married in April Insha Allah and I am definitely gonna be wearing my hijab that day as i would not have it any other way. I agree that if all the Muslim sisters wore a hijab as beautiful as the ones pictured here, they would look amazing. I’m just wondering if you can help a sister out and point me in the right direction on were i can find the 1st hijab (white and silver) right next to the white and turquoise or the gold one at the bottom right. I would so appreciate it if you could help.

    Jazakallah Khair.

    Your sister in Islam. x
