I wish there are instructions somewhere about how to fasten those accessories on the head along with the hijab. It would look VERY stylish to wear head accessories to parties.

the burbas of morocco have some beautiful ways of wering hijab mashallah, my hubbys nanna is a burba and mashallah she wears some really nice outfits at weddings mashallah, all be it shes in her 80s and still does more than some youngsters lol.

This is not a hijab, sorry.
It is a traditional outfit from the region of Souss in Morocco, and the lady in the background is from the Middle Atlas (different region and tradition).
I am mentioning this, because it has nothing to do with religion, whereas the “hijab” tends to have a religious connotation.

Souss, it is still hijab to me anyway since it is modest. And if you look at the expect of modesty, it is beautiful really. A modest woman is a beautiful woman. My hubby told me a veiled woman look more beautiful than an unveiled one. I think what he mean is elegant. I didnt agree at first but now when I look and think of it (he said imagine a beautiful girl and imagine she has a veil on).. I admit she would look even more beautiful with the veil on. I mean, imagine the real Eva Green wearing veil…….. Very mysterious and beautiful !
Lovely, nice pic and everything… but here in morocco what she wears is called KHARQA, not hijab… like a dowrag, or something worn loosely inside the home or after hammam thihi 🙂

Obviously this woman looks stunning with all the bright summery colours but this isn’t the islamic way of wearing hijab, people nowdays tend to make it look trendy when really they should stay as modest as possible, surely you can wear some colours but with pure modesty, at least covering your neck as it was indicated to us muslims.

Hi. this is not a hijab fashion since it doesnt answer all the requirements of hijab such as a bare neck. Nevertheless the accessories and clothing are very cute. they are worn by people in the atlas moutains in morocco. but there is something missing here; it is the drwings on the nose and chin. they are like tatoos which are made traditionally using a neddle and ashe. the picture is surely taken in a ceremony where we can see behind the woman a group of women dancers wearing tradition amazigh clothes to perform the Ahidousse dance. The people are not the burbas of morocco but rather the Zayan or Amazigh( gh- at the end is pronounced like a french “r”). you should see men’s clothing too. they are fabulous.

You could get that scarf from many places, for example if you go to the mall thay have stores filled with nice looking clothes!! Since I live in Canada, I ussually get my scarfs from Ardenes, Urban Planet, Aeropostale and many more.
