Ruqaya Al Ghasara, formal wear

I just love this picture of Bahraini sprinter Ruqaya Al Ghasara, and I wanted to share it with you!

As a Muslim woman, I’m extremely proud of her achievements. Doesn’t she look lovely in formal wear? I love the abaya/galabiya and the hijab.

U should definitely post about Her Highness Sheikha Mozah of Qatar if U’re into famous, dynamic and good looking muslim women! She is very concerned about education issues and has done alot for her country. A truly admirable woman. Good looking too! šŸ™‚

    Cheerz!

I always DROOLED over Bahraini formal wear!!! If I had the moolah to buy some of those outfits, I’d totally wear them!! I’d go into the shops in Bahrain and just look and look… (and wish and wish hahaha!)

Not only lovely, but fierce. I think she made it to the semis in one of her races, but drew the heat with three of the fastest women in the world. And her Opening Ceremony outfit is gorgeous!
