Don’t try the alien look – Fitted hijab

Some girls like the fitted hijab because it’s practical. Maybe it even looks nice on some of you. Please avoid the “skin tight” headscarf, though…

…Or else you migt end up looking like ET’s cousin…

Found at Hénna de la mariée. What do you think?!?!

    the shape plus the colour

  3. *~Ange~* says:

if you wore them under a normal, pretty scarf it could work.
it could only work as a base,,, by itself and i agree with the alien statement

salams happy that u enjoyed my mozaik
    but i disagree when you
said that “maybe it look nice on some of you” i think it will look nice only on ET the brown one!!
and yes ANGE it could only work with the bonnet and a nice hijab
    take care sisters!!

  5. Cat mad says:

I agree with Ange. could work as a base. OR it cud work for SWIMMING and other water sports!

  6. hannah says:

wow!! those look scary. but i bet they would work well as a base under another scarf! 🙂

  7. Saliha says:

Hmm, do hijabis actually wear these?? And why do they have to be so shiny? It looks like they have no hair underneath???

Actuallly you know what, they would work perfectly as a base for a loose scarf style (but in a less futuresque fabric ;)).

  8. Saliha says:

Forgot to say they look like Power Rangers from behind!

  9. ahysa says:

weird. i don’t blame non-muslims when thhey ask some hijabies if they wear it in the shower…it looks like part of their head!!!! *shudders* gaaaahhh

  10. flifla says:

    Sallam Sis,

Oh mi goodness… ET phone home… ET phone home. Haha. If they made it niqaabi style it could double as a Latina wrestler mask.

But seriously, it might work for sports (like the hijood) or watersports for sure.. Kiyak much? Get the supershiny dome-tight hijab!

Perhaps if there was a nice loose translucent style over it? hmmm

Thanks as always for the insight and photos.

Yeah, alot of the swimming hijabs look like this and I hated the look but love being weightless in my hijab in the water. My style solutioun was to cut the water-ready netting from a swim cover up and sew it onto the sport hiab so I then had a kuwaiti hijab that was completely waterproof. Works way better than trying to swim in my shaylas. That is really alot of work.

    Hi guys,

These hijabs are strinking. I wonder where I could buy these or where you found the pictures. I would love to learn more about them. They look ridiculous but I bet they’re very helpful.

  15. nzingak says:

LOL!!! They look like they’d be good for swimming or under a scarf if one feels the need for extra security.

  16. Am8inah says:

its haraam 2 take the hijab fashion 2 far. may allah 4give ur enthusiam 2 make money.

  17. Amela says:

Hmmm, I thought hijab was supposed to conceal shapes of our head and our bodies. I don’t think that word HIJAB is even appropriate in this case.
I do not like it a bit.
