    It’s more ”modern” ….

  2. It;s not hijab like it is necesarry to be!

  3. basbousa says:

I don’t see anything wrong with for example the middle black outfit?

  4. basbousa says:

    Or some of the others

  5. Megan says:

I guess it depends on your level of hijab. They mostly look decent to me:)

  6. hani says:

there is just something about the contast of that shade of pink in the second pic with the black that I just love. Like barbie meeting the real world. 😀

  7. curiousmuslimah says:

I like the hot pink and black as well!

  8. zaenab says:

    woow i love them all!!!

  9. You don’t see anything wrong with this hijab!!???This is rock hijab, like i can see!It is sad that you don’t see that girl with white hijab is not muhajjaba !She is muhajjabah ,she covered her hair, but that it is not hijab …Hijab is not only covering of hair!

Bosnian hijab girl; I know what you mean with the white outfit, but this girl looks quite young. However I think it’s disrespectful of you to say that NOT ONE SINGLE of these outfits are “hijab”.

The black outfit in the middle looks quite modest, so does the bottom left one as well. The others except from the white are not too tight or clingy, but I can agree that one belt is a little over the top…

About jeans stuffed inside the boots, I don’t know. I used to do this look before, now I think it is not that modest, but girl, don’t say that it’s not hijab. We are all trying our best..

  11. Muha says:

When the rules are listed for what is hijab, and something is breaking with that list, it is not hijab. If people play football (as in soccer) and suddenly play with their hands, it is no longer football, and it is alowed to say so, and the referee can stop the game. People can not say “they did their best, we cant say it is not football”….

  12. Megan says:

I would never ever wear most of the outfits I see on the street, but I don’t think it’s my place to judge others.

  13. Basbousa ,is she young???Rabbena meaki ja ukhti habibeti….

I want to judge ,but i only say what i see…And what i see here, that is not hijab…..Covring of hair,ok yes,but hijab like hijab ,no!!
Salam for you ,Basbousa, and we must try our ”’best”, ”best”

  14. I don’t want to judge, only want to say ……..We all need, rules of hijab,or no???Maybe ,there is somebody who forget that!

  15. Saliha says:

I like the bottom left one (if she’s wearing a long skirt under it). Totally my style. 😉

  16. aisha says:

Basbousa, I think you are alittle over bearing! The mere fact that some pictures are questionable goes to show that they are not what hijab should be!

  17. basbousa says:

This blog is about fashion, and most sisters know how to incorporate the looks and the inspiration to their modest wardrobes.

I think that also we shouldn’t be too hard on sisters that wear hijab this and that way, who knows, maybe the alternative is to NOT wear hijab. What is better? To try to do good or to not to try at all???????!!!!!!!!

  18. caraboska says:

Basbousa’s point is well taken. Better to try to be modest and fail than to not try. Besides, compared to some things I see on the street where I am, even the white outfit is almost niqabi… I think the pink and black outfit and the black one in the lower right corner, with that huge belt (with the edges nicely covered so you can’t see where the waist actually is) are the most stylish. Of those two, I’d say the pink and black one is best because it has a more stylish hijab. There’s got to be a more stylish way to do the hijab for the other one, can’t quite put my finger on what I’d change, but I’d definitely change something…

  19. Nazeerah says:

To me I don’t see any probs with all the hijab except the white one. Kinda tight but I respect the author’s intention of publishing it since this is a hijab fashion blog. Don’t think boots are any probs, the kinda hijab they wear. They look wonderful. Some of you may disagree on my comments but overall this is an opinion. Basbousa I thank u for coming up with this blog and I really love all your posts. 🙂

PS. Could u post some how-to-do vids or pics. Thanks 🙂

  20. riska says:

well i think it goes back to your understanding of hijab. depends on hijab level maybe. besides its just fashion. i like the styles, except the white one, just same with nazeerah. i heard that we should not wear pants, but hey still i wear it as long as its not too tight. maybe it breaks the rules, sorry i cant change it. i was born wit such things. for me, as long as i dont wear some tight dress and outfit that showin off my body shape, its no probs. thnk you. its just my opinion.

  21. zeneb says:
