YAY! I just discovered some new designs of Egyptian designer Reham Farouq. Enjoy it. I know I did šŸ™‚ Does she still design for Veil? Does anybody know?

Owwwww, how I love the last outfit with the abaya/jilbab/galabiya like dress šŸ™‚ Which one of these isĀ your favorite outfit? Are you loving or leaving the Egyptian hijab style?

Cute (but not very covering) way to wrap your scarf

I knoooow, it has been such a looooong time since I posted. The good news is I finished my first ever quarter at university a couple of days ago with top grades – yaaay. Insha’a Allah I will continue like that šŸ™‚ Unfortunately I don’t have photoshop here on my new laptop… Arrgh.. I got stuff that I wanna post but it looks so messy without arranging it and fitting it to my blog. Well…

Here is a cute but very non-covering way to wrap. The style is girly and in fact easy to do to but youĀ  better cover your neck/chest.

What do you think? Maybe something for a wedding party?

Fly hijabi

I think this girl knows how to rock her hijab. Sahar Salman is one of the cuter hijab models to be featured in Hejab Fashion magazine. Here are some pictures of her:

I think she carries many of her outfits well, andĀ there are two things that I love about her style;Ā that she is very creative when it comes to the wrapping of the scarves and that she matches her scarves so well with the clothing (that’s what saves the outfit in the 3rd picture with the not very stylish pink top and alsoĀ in the 6th picture with the black and purple outfit).

What do you think?

Mo7gbat – Learn to tie tons of new hijab styles

I recently discovered Mo7gbat, (they should get an English interface up soon…) a product of 6 instructional cds with videosĀ on how to tie different hijab styles. Really awesome. You’ll learn everything from the latest Spanish wraps, to Turkish style, and to Gulf style and everything between. This is really a must for all hijabis,Ā both the ones that are all new to hijab and need to learn some basic wraps, and also forĀ those of you that are tired of the same old hijabs every day….

The videos are in Arabic, but it is quiteĀ easy to understand most of the instructions without any knowledge of the language. HereĀ is some of what you can expect, but there’s much more to it:

Would you buy something like this?

Hijab on al Baghdadiyah

Veil designer Radwa Rashwan recently visited the show “Donya Sharahzad” on al Baghdadiyah channel, to teach us all some new hijab tie styles.

The first style is really easy, cuteĀ and neat, fit for every day use:

This next style is for the more “trained” hijabis, as it’s somehow more advanced and time demanding. It’s a beautiful style for parties or even weddings:

This is some of her previous work:

I love the pink/orangey spanish wrap but I’m not thrilled about the uncovered hair.

Did you like the featured hijab styles she made on the show?
